I just thought it might be nice to see howmany of what type of trailer are found on the forum.

Teardrops are what this forum is mostly based on but some folks dream of making one but have gone another direction for sleeping.

If you are still building or in the plans leave the answer open until you are finnished. and click on reply add if you like as to what type you are sure you will build.

I voted OTHER because I have both a vintage canned and a new/vintage teardrop. Those are in use. I also have a vintage canned ham that I'm restoring/modifying. A teardrop that I'm trying to figure out what to do with it and am getting ready to build another teardrop for my sister. :?

I voted other as well. I have 3 Vintage replicas in both sizes. Teardrop and Tiny Travel Trailer.

The new one I just started is a TTT shrunk down to a Tear size.

A Shasta Teardrop.

Sounds like it might have been a more useful poll if we were allowed to pick more than one. I too picked "other" as I have a teardrop and a 13' Serro Scotty Gaucho.

I polled other as currently, mine is in the plans as an ambulance box that will get a new bottom and lower sides, back panel/entrance door, and front airdam among many other potential thoughts of having a true pop-top to make a sleek aerodynamic box behind a lifted Jeep box.

I just need to straighten out the cash flow problem.

Hi Ron. It's just a bare frame and a figment of my imagination now. The Grumman II profile inspires me. Plan to fiberglass the roof and hatch then paint it, rather than use aluminum. Hoping it will be lighter and le$$ that way. :)

Other:

I'm building a Tear'Chop'. It's round on the front but the back is chopped off. The Tear part swallowed the galley and spit out the hatch on the roof! My chassis is done and I'm fighting with the deck frame, learning just how much I don't know. By the time I learn enough, I'll probably be done and there will be all kinds of bungles that are (hopefully) hidden.

If I ever get enough done to start posting pics, I will. Right now, it's boring to everyone but me. I'm busy growling at it.
