Dave I put floor finish on mine but it shows. I made the door as a temp so Had a gap and water got in. Sure glad I sealed the daylights out of it. If you epoxy it you probably don't need to poly over it. I mean how much sun will get inside. Do finish the galley though.

Also if you decide to vinyl you still need to seal the ply first.

If you are gluing the walls down I would leave off the sealer where the glue will be. MHO 8)

oh yeah and if you epoxy the edges where the sides and floor meet it won't let water in either. :thumbsup: ;)

I over did it on the floor inside. Dark Oak Parquet. Never see it because of the mattress. Just more added weight, labor and expense. But it does look nice. 8)

I have exercise/shop mat (the cushiony stuff with the jigsaw puzzle edges that hold the sqares together). It added just that little bit of extra cushion for my less than adequate (but free) matress.
