In Reality

Postby Franklin » Fri Jan 09, 2009 10:29 am

In reality, there is a forum that I was very active in for a few years and haven't been in awhile and I went back and made one upbeat post about the new scaled down RVs which I thought were really exciting and all I got in response was grumble, grumble and I thought, now I remember how negative this forum is and I didn't go back. This forum seems pretty good and when the information is good you just have to jump in there and ignore the grumblers (maybe that isn't a word). Having been in 3 or 4 active forums, I have seen people make fun of someone who has a typo or word spelled wrong or maybe they missed a capital letter - I think "What a sad, sour life they must have and probably being so critical they probably don't have a single friend and many times they appear to be in a forum for which they have no interest in the subject other than to look for someone to be nasty too. God just isn't finished with them so I ignore them while he finishes. Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question. I enjoy learning from other's mistakes because after 50 years I have made enough to last a lifetime. I just love to see an active forum. Cathy

I have posted on other forums, and no sooner than I have posted they are beating me up. Like Franklin said.

I've noticed that nutrition forums are especially bad.

CNC forums are much better, more more like T&TTT.

Frankly, I just dont have much to say, Im a bit quiet.
There is almost no need to ever ask a question, if you are willing to dig and search a bit nearly every awnser you need to build and enjoy your TD is in here! Outside of work and close family, this is the only social life Ive got in the winter..

Mrs. Dog first found this forum when we were thinking about building. She posted a question about the price of having the frame built for us. She got dog-piled pretty hard by a few people about paying for experience and not trying to low-ball or negotiate with the builder because they needed to make a living...

She quit posting here as a result.
