What is your Primary news source?

Given the news I keep hearing about newspapers going under, where do you get most of your news? I stopped my newspaper long ago when I found I had already heard or read most everything printed. When The recycling bin was full of unwrapped papers, I knew it had to go. I really only miss the Sunday comics and other "filler".

I read the newspaper every morning and watch the local news every night. Sometimes during the day I'll read a news article online if it catches my eye. I voted newspaper even though I draw from all three. The newspaper has more local news and sports info and I like the comics. :D

I get my news from a wide variety of sources...I do watch the local/national newscasts on TV but gave up on the week old news, our local paper seems to be full of...I get most of my news from Google and Yahoo news, what I truly love about them is access to news feeds from all over the world...for every story, they have multiple sources to check the story out...reading about Mid-Eastern stuff, try alJazerra, or the Jerusalem Post, reading about far East stuff, try Xinhua new from China or maybe the South Korean times...BBC, Reuters, Associated Press...LA Times, NY Times, Houston Chronicle and more sources than I can mention...I have dropped Fox news because of continued negativity about ANYTHING...oh yeah, Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg for business news are pretty good as well...I pity the person who gets their news from only one source........

The closest match for me is "Online Newspaper," although it is more than one. I get RSS headlines from a few, and also go to "headline" type websites that link to articles to see what's out there.

I also use google a lot, to get more information on a story that catches my interest.

TV news is too skewed towards sensationalism -- they depend the most on ratings of all the media. I have no

I like printed newspapers, but I can read several of them online -- and I don't like the Dallas Morning News all that much.

I listen to NPR on my car radio 70-percent of the time, and XM Satellite for music and entertainment the other 30-percent.

It's a tossup between the local news stations and the Internet.

I tried a subscription to the paper a few years back. Seems the street was as close as they could get it to my driveway. Try reading the paper when it has been run over a couple of times. I don't subscribe to the paper any more.

I'm a news junkie, the set in my bedroom is on all night long. no news papers. when in the car I'm listening to Talk. Although I'm conservative I do investigate more liberal sources just so I'm informed. Walt

there's a tag on this board that says.
Those who don't read the newspaper, are uninformed, and those that do are misinformed. (Mark Twain)
