What about your trailer are you most proud of?

Postby Ron Dickey » Thu Apr 18, 2013 12:19 am

We have things that people most point out, there is a thing on or in your trailer you worked very hard at, there is something about your trailer that turns heads, It may be the outside look or the cool inside, it maybe in your galley, or something that know one else notices but you know !! 8)

if you would like to tell us and if at all possible share a picture of it as well that would be really cool.

My trailer it is the stained wood back of it, people have followed me for miles not passing not tailgating but just slowing down and enjoying the wood look.
I need to take a picture of it. :pictures: some host I am....

I think the best feature on my new Rear door trailer is the dropped floor in the rear.

It allows me a place to store my shoes inside and you can sit on the edge of the bed at night and use your Coffee Can without having to go outside...if ya know what I mean.

Plus the little roll out galley is pretty "Snappy" Too.

Not to take over things or pound my chest, but I was always proud of this.

My camper has been outside for over a year now and I'm proud of the fact that it is water tight. No leaks anywhere.

Len,

That rear door unit of yours is quite impressive.
Very nice work and design.
Sure is some top gear on this forum.

The fact that I built it, that it's unique and it reflects my personality, and that, while not a professional "finish," I know it is very well built and will last!!

When I started a lot of people thought it was a crazy idea, and I think there were more than a few that were doubters. I'm pretty proud that some of those same people are now so excited to see it getting finished.

Don't know about proud but fairly pleased with the end result. Nothing in particular actually. Maybe the finish of the steel cladding and ally checker plate on the bottom sections.
As a practical form of camping about the countryside it has proved to be a resounding success and so much more useful than the caravan which preceded it.
Yep we are happy with it.

The maple and black cherry wood cabinet doors I built. Will be sad when I sell it this year.

I didn't build mine but I am proud to have something different that gets me places anything bigger would be challenging and as a wife and mom the independance and freedom it gives me away from the family.

I, too, didn't build mine. But I'm glad it's paid for (unlike many of those super sized RV's), and I'm glad it's my little home away from home that I enjoy so very much.

We love our galley, because we designed it ourselves and it works great for us. I designed the counter extension from scratch.
