When you are doing or were building your trailer.
What did you do your cuts on.

Like Doug H. has work tables in his shop for many other projects. I have seen tables make of press wood. So far I have been using an old Dinner table that is proving to be to small, shaky and often have to add saw horses to do my work.

Years ago Mike came up with a Construction table which I can no longer find, from about 8 years ago.

What do you use.

4 x 10 ft table in the shop, shelf below for storage of all the power tools needed. The sides in the right pic are 6 ft wide and 12 ft long.

I don't have a garage or workshop - just do projects on the
carport and keep the worn out tools in the storage rooms at
the head of it. It's a pain to have to setup and teardown each
day, Oh Well....

Anyway I use one of those banquet/cafeteria tables, @ 3ftx6ft
tabletop size, with the folding steel "H" legs as my work surface.
The current top is a vinyl covered particle board so it is heavier
than I care for. It's about 25 years old, so it doesn't owe me anything.
The top is getting pretty beat up so I'll either replace it with some
3/4inch Plywood or look into some other set up. The folding legs
are good for storing it.

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

I have been using the deck of the porch for mine so far.
Not to tall, and very little bending over.

Works for me !!!

by working on it
By frequency of usage:
  • 118144 B & D Workmate=5%
  • 86939 trailer floor=10%
  • 86951 folding sawhorses=20%
  • 108152 Gmc pickup bed=20%
  • 98252 Chevy pickup bed=30%
then add in another 15% of various router table, table saw, bare ground, and fender of my carhauler trailer usage...shows that for 100% of the build time, I would use anything at any time!

I have a Work Bench,

But for everything else I use what I call "Bingo Tables"

Not shown in the Pictures I have made leg extensions to make the tables 30", 36" or 42" high.

Depending what I'm doing and how long I will be doing it, it really saves my Back.

Happy Trails
