Preliminary Design Ideas

Postby cryptojones » Wed Jun 26, 2013 8:58 pm

So I think a TD will be too small for me. I have and idea to get a Northern Tool 5x8 and add some tube steel to make it a 7x10. Then I have the trailer design in sketchup.

The pros:

It will give plenty of space

The Cons:

Its oversized compared to some of the other TTTs.

What do you guys think?

Welcome into the TnTTT adventureland. I can't open your file; I'm using Windows 8, and the browser won't let me. Sorry.

I can't read the file either, but that size doesn't sound like a problem. There are 10 and 12 foot tears in the design library. Mine will be 10x5, but it could have been 10x7 if I built out over the tires. I have seen many tears built out over the tires. Check out the campster in te design library, it is 12x7! So, bottom line, 10x7 is not too far out of line!

It is a sketchup file. **Reattached in older version for compatibility*

What I was really concerned about was the height. Being seven foot wide and six feet tall seems a little disproportional.
