Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

My TD has 3 coats for RAKA epoxy and about ready to start painting.

I know nothing about paint and don't trust the Lowes or Home Deport paint guys so I'll ask here.

What paint from Lowes or Home Depot would you recommend? Would you recommend using primer.

The TD has 3/4 plywood sides 1/8" ply roof covered with fiberglass for added strength.

Talked to Valspar and they recommend using their interior/exterior bonding primer and their Duuramax exterior paint.

Whatever you use look for UV protection.

I used rustolem paint, sherwin willims oil based primer. The trick was getting the right amount of thinner and linseed oil to get it to flow smoothly with the least amount of orange peel. I used a 4" roller. It's been 3 years and as far south as Virginia and north to the Adirondacks. Holding up really well.

Kaz, did you paint the roof ...and...sides? Can you wax this paint to protect it and keep it shiny?

I used Rustoleum paint on the sidewalls of a tear and used a buffer to keep it waxed.
