Came across this one today at work and thought it would make a great tow vehicle.

Is it possible, FULL RV in a 48 Sq.Ft. footprint & stay under 500Lbs wet?
SHE thinks teardrops are "cute" but I prefer a SKOSH mo-room & at 65+ the
body doesn't react/extract/move/mend/bend/lend or work like it use'ta.

Usually the Wife's '08 VW EOS 2.0T :D
:)
Perspective is weird there. The TD is actually about the same footprint
and only 3-4 inches taller than the car.

1300lb of trailer weight; ~200lb luggage, gear and tools; and a heavy set passenger did not make the little 1.5l manual happy but it made it through the 2400mi journey. It wouldn't have done mountains so my TTT project will stay compact and under 650lb loaded.

I didn't, I just posted as per thread title.

But I understand the comparison since our camping trailers are of the smallest in the industry.

A Ram 1500 Promaster Van.
Low roof, short wheel base (118") V6, front wheel drive. 5000 lb. tow capacity.

It's the "baby" of the Promaster line.

That's a new one on me... And I've heard a few

It's definitely an "acquired taste". I love it though.

1985 Volvo with a V8 Camaro drivetrain, here is is pulling my Dune Buggy back from Big Bend National Park. Car had 3 people and full of gear, Buggy weighed close to 1800 lbs with the gear and water in it. Was able to easilyrun 70 Mph up hills and get 15 MPG. Looking forward to how it pulls my trailer (still under construction) Image
