Thanks, also, if you look at my album, I'm not one to throw stones at the flat spots. I wanted maximum volume as well.

I'm with Tom, a short flat section isn't going to make that much difference. I have about an 18" flat section also, just enough for the fan to sit flat. It's rained several times while camping but never had any water problems (at least on the roof).

I like the profile :thumbsup:
