Angib and everyone. What would you think of "shrinking" the 12 foot scotty design down to about 6' the fit in the back of a pickup truck. the shape and door placement are almost perfect for what i have in mind.
You want to build WHAT?????

I've nearly got that design in stock already! Here is a Dodge Dakota with a teardrop shape camper. The one thing I changed is the door which is inset into the rear of the trailer and stands upright.

And here's an actual 12ft Scotty pasted onto a Dodge Ram - though you can see how its lower half has to be narrowed to fit in the truck bed.

I never cease to be amazed by all the designs on this site!

Andrew, I have, more than once, considered building a pickup camper from your designs, but they I would have to find a different forum.
