Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum, and in the very early planning stages. Found a UK importer of the American Little Guy TDs. He also has a model called THE TURTLE made to his spec in Turkey, and his sit has some pics of the production line.

Though the link might be handy for anyone looking for desisgn ideas, but also construction techniques... as DIYers I guess many of us might fall into the trap of over engineering everything... then you see what the commercial builders get away with.

Here's the link to the full album: http://www.littleguy.co.uk/images/album/index.html

click the TURTLE menu to see some factory shots.

That's interesting. It looks to me like they're using fiberglass mouldings for the door frame, the hatch frame and the hatch itself. If you can absorb the cost of making those moulds, it seems a very good technique.

Lots and lots of great photos of British (?) Little Guy-car combos and Turtle-car combos.

Lots of little cars -- especially that 3-wheeler. Loved the dune buggy combo.

As a Little Guy owner, I thank you for posting that link.

What's up with the ceiling in this pic.

Edit:
I just tried the link above and it doesn't seem to link to...well anything.

I was referring to the last pic in the turtle series.

John

I just looked at the pics. In that last pic the ceiling was pulled up to get the prevous pic. Looking down on the bed. That pic was not made with a wide angle lens so they peeled the ceiling back. Probably a "test" trailer. Looks like a nice comercial trailer.
