Hey All,

A little more progress for the "oil bubble" ;)

The reading lights are in and wired.

Puck lights are in and wired, going to push them home after the wood is stained and lacquered

All "interior" high and low voltage has been pulled through the frame work :? Need to build a vented box for the battery.

Interior skin on the nose is installed and I'm starting to put in the bracing.

Interior roof skin and truses next. :hammer:

Your trailer continues to be a work of art! Are you going to be able to reach those reading lights while lying down?
God Bless

Cliff,

Yes, the bed will be up off the floor, about a foot "floor to the top of the mattres". The bed will be a transformer, the back 1/3 will be fixed "storage" the next two pieces will convert into a couch and slde back giving a little more daytime floor space if needed.

What say you?

I say it's awesome!

I can barely reach my reading light, my Beloved can't reach it at all. 6 inches lower would have made a good bit of difference.

One more question, if you don't mind (and you've probably said so already). What is the interior height of your trailer? Mine is 56" (before I put the mattress in) and yours looks taller.
God Bless

It's probably the vertical stripes of the wainscoting. They have a "thinning" effect. Just ask my wife! She's trying to get me to wear vertical stripes all the time.

I think I'm going with a head liner on the roof, I didnt realise the last sheet of birch had a ugly scar on the finnish side.

Looks good so far

I noticed that the peak of your roof is right where the fan will sit. That will make it difficult for the fan to sit flat. Are you going to make a flange for the fan to sit on?

You are making super progress! I like your method of getting all the interior stuff done first, it allows you easy access to do your wiring and test everything.

I made my frame out of the same stuff 2x2 1/8" thick, I believe my frame (without the axle) was 110lbs.
