Made a model of my TTT...

Postby easterngray » Sat Apr 30, 2005 10:56 am

I decided to carry the "dormer window" all the way to the edge of the trailer, hence, that will be the shape of the side panels, then I will just create the more traditional curved lines of the trailer with the paint job - ala this model (looks like something Snoopy owns, I know... )
I am having alot of fun planning this out.. Also, I posted a query at the electrical forum for feedback re: a wind generator. I saw some neat old plans concerning same. Any one with any experience with this? Cheers and happy trails! Alec

Ah, another CAD* enthusiast!

But I do worry that the paint job isn't really going to be convincing - I suspect it will look like a square-back trailer with an odd paint job.

My wife enjoyed making fun of me for making my paper model back in the day. Image
I think she thought it was a little too detailed for a paper model.

I did the same thing, The wife gave me a hard time also. Now that it is done we have used it about 10 times. She tells everyone it all started with a paper model and now look at it. she got the teardrop bug worse than me, but later, and we both made great new friends at gatherings
