Finished staining the inside and the roof. Going to varnish tomorrow, weather permitting, of course. 8)

I think maybe you had already started on the CC months ago and are just fooling us, Right?

Anyway did you have any problem with bending the wood over the Kitchen lid?

No problems bending the wood. I used 3'x7' 1/8 doorskin so the grain was going the right way, with only a little waste on the ends. The spars were 1' centers so they layed down fine. I used a 2' section on the top of the hatch then the 3' around the tighter lower bend.

had a rough couple days here with wind and rain. I went to adjust the hinge on the galley and a gust took the hatch and flung it over onto the roof. Crushed one panel of door skin. Got that fixed yesterday morning. I put up the trim this morning. Got the one side done and most of the other. Here is where I am at.

Looking pretty nice!

Isn't it fun cutting all that trim...

When will you be taking the boys out on the first camping trip?

Once I figured out how I wanted it to look it wasn't too bad. Wasted only a few boards! :x The second side is much easier now that I know how they go together! Both boys are going on the shakedown cruise. Probably to a friends farm close by. Soon I hope :worship:

Got hte back side trim finished and put a few coats of varnish on. Put on a door lock I got at Lowes. It was for a storm door, it had a small deadbolt lock and fit the 3/4" door. for about $28. I also made up the screen windows and cut the plexi for the windows.

Looks like you're about ready for a mattress, a little food, and a bit of vacation!
