It could be added to the do-list - but I'm not convinced that shortening the trailer for towing makes much sense for on-road use (except maybe for ferry crossings). Lowering the overall height makes sense to reduce drag but I can't see shortening as a big benefit - the web site notes that later model Properts had a longer tongue so that they could be erected while still hitched to the tow vehicle, so they weren't even that short.
Making a trailer fold makes it
heavier than if it didn't fold, so you don't want any folding that doesn't give a benefit.
I think a similar length Winter Warrior type design (except maybe with the whole top lifting, like the Propert) would be a better design.
