I'm wondering if anyone out there has built a Widget recently. I've built one teardrop and would like to build something a bit larger and would like to consult with someone who has built a Widget already. Thanks.

Check the Hall of Fame. I think Puffin is a Widget.

The last one I remember was being built by Jeff (WarPony):

I've seen it in person and it is gorgeous!

The widget and the vintage midget are close cousins. Although it may be tough to find a 1924 chervolet front axle or a model T gas tank as a water tank there are still a lot of great ideas in this old thread. I studied many of these old tutorials when I built Chubby and found that a lot of what worked then still works today. I think it would be fantastic to keep a new build as close as possible to the vintage plans especially the galley area. I learned something today looking over this design closely. See if you can find the flow thru ventilation system
