Scotty (not 'Trab') Teardrop Profile

Postby angib » Sun Mar 12, 2006 12:22 pm

This is about the Scotty teardrop trailer that got described on eBay as a 'Trab' - item 4609595802 and got discussed in this T&TTT topic.

Someone has asked me if I had a profile for this trailer - I didn't but it seemed so easy that I drew one up:

I don't think it's perfect as I'm guessing the shape from oblique photos, but I'm posting it here as some builders may like it because it has a flat hatch.

This post got passed me when it was posted.

I am a Scotty fan. My grandfather had one (a 65ish) that he took out west many times and at least once to Mexico. He even let me borrow it in the late 80's while I was in college.

He didn't have this model but rather a larger "fat" or "plump" scotty.

Anyway, thanks for the drawing. It is saved in my tear file for later use.
