Our camping buddy Carol (with the A-Liner) just told me that the unforgettable character Vicki is in site #43 for whole week with her mini greyhound, If anyone gets there early please stop by and say hello. 8)

They are both characters! Glad to know she will be there too...she's a nice lady. Carol too.

I'll put her on the list. Thanks Steve.

Only 3 sites left in our loop (FK1/FK2): 33, 47,

There are about 12 sites left in loop SF1/SF2 which is about 300-400 yards away from our loop.

Dear Becca,

I was looking at one of the video slide shows from the 1st "Women in Tears"

It brought back some nice memories. Here's a link. Women in Tears 2008

There were a couple of others out there too, probably much better. :D

That song choked me up. That was the last time Fran and I were with Robin. I talked to Robin a week later and a week after that she passed away. :( She did enjoy herself though...

This time I want to take lots of pictures! We'll have Teardrops, Scottys and a Lil Gypsy wagon...so cool!

OOPS...

Too bad that:

1. I haven't gotten to start building my PT yet,

2. That I didn't see this sooner, and

3. The campsites are running out, so 1 and 2 above don' matter anyhow.

I would have liked to debut the PT there (even though it's not a TD) as Ocala is my home town and I worked at Silver Springs for 6 years in the late 50s and early 60s. Too bad I won't make it.
Maybe there will be a Spring meet in Florida that I might be able to attend.
Dale

Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.

Dale, if you decide to ride out there for the afternoon, come over and have supper at the pot-luck gathering. I don't have a Tear either - have the Scotty now.

Thanks for adding me to the list. So happy you are getting everyone together.

This will probable be my first camping trip. Too close to home to miss.

Everyone that has a dog should be happy to know that a wonderful dog park is about 5 miles or less away from the campsite. Good place to take the dog and let them run free. It's donation's only.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.
