The dates are correct in the above post Feb. 9 - 11, 2006. I would strongly reccomend getting your reservations like real soon. As We all know when I posted the dates for Anastasia for Nov. Many waited till the last minute to book sites and the park was full. So do it now, because it is a beautiful park and plenty of history to boot. Maybe we can coax a Pirate or two out of the trees this time

Reserve America has changed their format, is there any way to see the lay out of the campground with campsite numbers? I'd like to see where the sites are located in relation to each other... thank you.

Thank you... i found it.. just takes a bit of getting used to, but I think I like it better with the new updates..

---

I showed Shirley the map of the campground, and she was undecided about which site to take.... she came back later and gave me 2 choices.... luckily for me, one had been taken (89) while she made up her mind, so her other choice was 85, which we got. Relieved me of all that decision making.... the sites are small... great teardrop size, and I assume some vegetation between the sites.

From what I hear, your teardrop is coming along  This should give you a good 2 months to get it completed...or at least dried in and usable

Woody, or anyone, can you cross from one side of the loop to the other, or is there a ditch down the middle?

Arne
From my experience there there are many footpaths that crisscroos the area and pretty much head to the bathroom from all the surrounding campsites. There are low spots in the area. I am not sure where they are in that area since we normally camp in the Coquina loop area. This is a departure from the norm and last minute change due to the renovation and construction at Little Talbot. I have been in this area however am not sure of the terrain for sure. I do recall it being a larger area and quite a tree canopy over head with vegetative barriers between the campsites

We need to start posting your site numbers so we can plan on what to do for Saurday's Potluck dinner. It would be nice to know how many will attending the gathering and so no one will be left out, Any suggestions for dinner

Carla sugessted a Dutch Oven "CHILI COOKOFF". It will on the cool side down there, anyway. And some people could bring things like: bread, rice, chesse, desserts, eatting utensils...etc.

AND DON"T FORGET CANS OF REDI-WHIP   :o :?
