Thanks for the pictures Jim.

I talked the the Lady-friend that's out there earlier, she said that she knew of a few beaches nearby that are supposed to be nice.

I always liked St. Simon's Island allot better than Jekyll Isle, Jekyll always seemed kinda snobby to me.

As others mentioned Tybee Island. I was there a few months back for research on a novel. I noticed RV's parked in the beach parking lot at the lighthouse beach, early in the morning before the gate opened to take your parking fees. One thing to note, you can go running with the dolphins on Tybee. It was an awesome sight to see the dolphins swimming along shore.

It is an area that is very developed as others mentioned. And obviously Jiminsavan is well acquainted with the area.
