December at the Beach

Camping in the Southeast, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Missippi & Alabama, also Southern Appalachian, Georgia, Florida, and Magnolia (Mississippi) Chapters of Tearjerkers

Postby Ross Wade » Mon Nov 22, 2004 8:18 pm

9 trailers so far....not a bad turn out. Is someone going to gather up all the sites needed? It looks like Clyde will be the first to arrive.

I've got the copper tubing for the Saturday night fire. It will make the camp fire produce some awsome colors.

First person there needs to tell park people that we will be having a group of ?. I expected to be the first there on Fri morning. If Clyde gets there Thursday he can do it. If there are 4 or 5 on each side of the street that wpoul keep us bunched up nicely. Need to add one more TD if I can get this other one done in time. Lots of rain in the forcast here so it's slowing down progress.

Be sure to post a review of the campsite in my database when you all return, if you don't mind. http://www.ifindu.com/teardrop/camps/ I'm still working on cleaning up the cosmetic details but, it is functional. I would like to get as many sites in as possible before the spring camping season starts so we can have some options.
Started many, finished none... Bought a TTT <Sigh> ;)

Alan, you said you would you would go back home if Chip came dresed as Santa Claus. I would like to think he would look better as the "grinch" who stole Christmas, about the same size & color don't you think...... Pete

:( Darn it. All three of my cars have four flat tires and both of my Tears have flats too and all the cars are out of gas and I'm going blind just thinking about Chip in fish net hose.

 Well it is for sure, I sadly will be unable to attend the Myrtle Beach trip. I went in to West Virginia and spent all last week running spending running and having a great time unteathered or restrained by the wife. It is now time to pay the piper. Funds are low and it was worth it !!!

 I will do my best to make the next outing that is within range.

Alan, Bentley here. Count me in on the fire wood. It looks like it will be my son Austin and I on this trip. I have a bluegrass thingie Fri. evening so we will get up (what sleep) and try to arrive early Sat. morning (hopefully around 8:30). I will bring some drinks and some plates and napkins. Got to go to the garage now, working on a storage chest for the tongue of the TD. The fun continues!

Hello everyone, My name is Cheri, I am Alan's daughter. At 1am this morning my father had a heart attack. He is at Moore County Regional Hospital in Southern Pines. Things went well and hopefully he will still be making the trip. He asked me to write to you all and let you know that he is doing well and will get in contact with you as soon as he comes home, which if all stays well will be in the next 48 hrs. All he can talk about is getting home so that he has his chilli ready in time. I will keep you further updated. If you have any questions just call his home number and my mother or I will explain in greater detail. Thank you so much for being his friends, and pray for his speedy recovery.
:worship: Thanks,
Cheri
