We will be there rain or shine. We may have a shower or two this weekend, hopefully not :worship:

David and anyone else, before going to the overflow area, check with the Rangers at the front gate to see if per chance there is an available site in Apple Tree Loop.

Sorry that you won't be able to join us this weekend Julie. There will be many more gatherings next year ;)

We are packed and will be pulling out tomorrow morning. Man, I've been waiting for this trip for a few months now.

See ya when we see ya,
Ross

7:30 PM and just talked to Jim. He's somewhere arround Hendersonville trying to find the campground. I just finished a quick brakejob (stuck calliper) on the car and still not sure if we will be able to make it. If not then Jim will be using my site.

Jim, Thanks for the pictures. I wonder what the tongue weight is on the tear that said "camp run amok". That thing was long!

Thanks for the pics Jim... looks like there was still a good turnout and I guess the weather was a bit chilly... I see plenty of jackets and no fishnet hose (Chip?)

Did that turn out to be a nice campground, etc? Were there nice fall colors, and mountain views? mmm make me jealous!!! haha

Hate that we missed it but things happen. Jim: Did you get to use my site OK ? Leaves didn't look like they were turning yet. Too bad. Hope everyone had a great time and will see some of you at Myrtle Beach SP in Dec.

Fain and I had a great time, the weather and company couldn't have been better. And the food was the best ever! Jim Gallagher makes the finest potatto salad. Looking forward to next year.

Alan, I did use your site with no problems, and unfortunately, the leaves didn't turn colors this year because of some fluke about rainfall, they just died and fell out the trees without being pretty first..Thursday night and friday night were just wonderful sleeping weather days..it was saturday that it was overcast and got cold, around suppertime, we needed coats to keep the breeze from freezing us to our chairs, except Pete..he had alchohol fuel to keep him warm.

all in all, it was a wonderful time had by wonderful people, and hopefully next year, we can all get reservations in appletree loop and just own the place.
