HOLY CRAP...reserveamerica changed

Postby Jiminsav » Wed Feb 21, 2007 10:13 pm

oh boy, I tried to get a site at appletree loop for this coming fall crawl in brevard, and couldn't do it..Dennis on the yahoo group found that reserveamerica and some other reservation site is now rolled into recreation.gov.
so if you were waiting on reserveamerica to open a slot, go now to recreation.gov.
go now before its too late.nowwwwwww.

Recreation.gov sold the whole summer up to July 14th in Yosemite in one half hour Feb 15th  . I got mine but it was a struggle. If your looking for a campsite anywhere in the national system reserve your spot early :ilovecamp: or stay home. Danny

Yep Jim, it's now recreation.gov. I'm waiting for a re-ply from wife noe to see if she still wants to go. I can get the 17-20 but not the 21st. We wanted to stay a long time but that is not an option. If you have made reservations from reserve for this year at other places, they will be honored by recreation. So I was told in an e-mail.

Yes, there's lots of discussion under MadJack's LCG II thread since we're all itching to get reserved for MJ's party weekend..... There is a phone number for reserve america that we've had success with but lots of hold time. 877 226 7652

I tried recreation.gov but it did not give a choice of Louisiana at ALL !!!
Don't know about other states....

I am not too thrilled with the way Recreation.gov is being handled. Sometimes you can get into the site, other times you can't. Oh well, whatca gonna do.........................
