I'm going to take our TD obsession to a whole new audience next weekend.

Miata clubs from across the country are converging on Deals Gap N.C. the 27th thru 29th this month.

I'm expecting a lot of interest in TD's from these guys. I'll spread the word about this great web site and try to do us all proud.

you gonna run the Dragon?
That would be cool with a tear.....you could be the first!

I take my trailer to car shows often and its a ton of fun. Always handing out "business cards" with this website on it. Take some with you if you can.

MJ and Survey

I'm gonna try to stay off the Dragon this time. So many people will be there I don't want to give the impression I'm holding anyone up.

I was there a couple of months ago. A website called KILLBOY got pics.

http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/ThumbPa ... g=00&s=100

I've seen pics of a MINI with a tear on that page before, so I wasn't the first. That tear was named "Tears of the Dragon" dang made me mad-I still havn't come up with a good name for mine.

Have Fun

There are some tasty roads in the Petit Jean area, where we will be gathering on the same weekend.

Alas, I sold my Ziata six months ago, and my ZAudi will probably just about be repaired from it's close encounter with the bigass SUV. So, I will be tossing a Grand Cherokee Deisel around Scenic 7 and its many sideroads.

Hey, don't come back with any "dragon bites," as I believe they are nicknamed. I've seen several Miatas with messed up rear fenders from forgeting about lift-throttle oversteer while riding the tail-o-the-dragon. Lots of hard objects just off the side of that road.

No worries Casey, I have tracked my car a couple of times. I never exceeded the limits in that kind of controlled environment. I will not even come close to the limits on the Dragon (maybe 75%). All I have to worry about is someone crossing the yellow and using my side of the road

Wish me luck anyway
