Hey my wife and I had a great time.
 Not much sleep. but enjoyed meeting every one . Zoey had a good time too.
I hope every one enjoyed the chilli and cherry cobbler
Sorry my wife and I did't stay to eat and enyoy everyone.
But some one said two to many dogs
So we thought it would be better If we left.
Some people just should think about what they are going to say before they say it .
Any way our first time out was not bad at all next time maybe better. Again we had a great time and met a great bunch of nice folks out there.

Good times, good friends, old and new. Thanks to everyone that was there.
The weather turned out to be perfect. The "merry pranksters" were in good form. There were many highlights of the weekend, Rocky (aka Asianflava) and Melody came down from a trip to Atlanta and joined us for the pot-luck Saturday night, Melody brought her TearDrop Album with lots of pictures of their adventures. We had a good time seeing Bill Fernandez new tear and hearing about their 1st night in a teardrop. Some of us found out that a Chili cook off and sleeping in a teardrop don't really go together too well, but it was all fun.....right????

Thanks Guy, good time indeed!! 8)

But the sojourn continues, some of the hardier partiers continued on down to more Southern climes, down Key West way. I got a phone call this afternoon from the beautiful Ellen and here they are. doing what's known as the Duval Crawl outside Sloppy Joe's Bar on Duval Street, Key West.

Florida, North Carolina and Georgia are being missrepresented as I type this. I tried to get a picture of them waving but it seemed like Homeland Security has some sort of time delay on either the webcam or AT&T and we couldn't get in sync.

Well, I'm back home now. Want to thank everyone for the warm welcome and their hospitality. Even though I still haven't had a chance to camp with you all, I have a fun time when I'm there.

Jim, I'm sorry about you getting sick but I'm glad that we got to meet up again. It must have been running around because Mel started feeling bad the next day. Couldn't be due to lack of sleep because she was asleep in the car everytime we got to drivin'.

Steve, thanks for the pics. I had my camera in my pocket the entire time but I didn't get to take any pics. Oh and Loved the chili, hot but not too hot to enjoy.

Hi all,

Paul and I had a great time at the gathering. BTW Beano helps before you eat the chili from the chili cook-off.

As stated the weather was great. We went to Savannah for three days after the gathering then went to St. Augustine and camped for a few more days. Unfortunately the temps dropped tremendously and we cut our vacation short by a day and returned home today. The Inkwell was warm and toasty but I caught a bug of some sort and thought it would be best to come home.

I'm looking forward to our next gathering.

Well we made it back in one peice from Little Talbot and the Florida Keys and Key West. Thanks Steve for capturing those web cam pictures of all of us in front of Sloopy Joe's. I would like to thank everyone who came to the Little Talbot gathering it was again an excellant time. Old friends and New friends having a good time together. The chili cook off was excellant, but Teardroppin' and Chilli, I found don't mix. Beano was a good idea, a cork would have better, DANG I'll bet, NO, I know that there were plenty of open doors that night. Wow.

Rocky and his wife Melody came by Saturday night for the Potluck dinner. Good to see you again old friend, Maybe next time ya bring that guy MADJACK with ya also.
And yes we had a good time. I don't think I could have laughed any harder than I did without wetting myself. My sides hurt and it will be a fond memory once again in my heart
Everyone (Ross and Carla, David and Melanie, Woody and Ellen) survived the Keys and Key West gathering and should be home sometime this weekend. I got home yesterday. David and Melanie got engaged while we were in the Keys on the beach. CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER

No, we stayed with family but stayed in the Inkwell. Their guest room is on the second floor and I didn't think my knees could handle the constant use of the stairs.

Jim's potato salad was excellent, again. I'm glad you all enjoyed the bbq pork even though it wasn't chili.

Congrats to David & Melanie hope your marriage is as delightful as Paul's and mine.
