We are going to a small private campground in Lenoir, NC at the base of Blowing Rock. My mom and a few of her friends are coming up from Asheville to join us. This will be her camping trip in her new Scamp that was delivered this past Saturday.

Got plans this weekend Chip? We will be smoking a beef roast for Saturday night dinner. There is always room for pickle and RC. We will have most of the campground to ourselves.It would be about a 3 hour trip fer ya.

Ross ya sure make it hard to turn down,, I gonna be locked down till after lunch tomorrow,, I better take a rain check this weekend,, If I can it will be a close in quick trip this weekend,, and I sure hate to turn down smoked beef,, yall have fun though,, take a picture or two of the scamp,,,

Alan, i'll be there sometime saturday.
the only concern I have is wether I can share a site, or have to cough up the full price for a site..with gas hitting over 2 bucks a gallon, it'll be expemsive getting there.

Alan is right, Jim. I can chip in some as well. Are you going to be there for one night only?

Who else is going to be there Friday night? Carla and I will get there around 6:00pm. The weather should be great this weekend

Ross, Thats nice of you to offer, but i can swing it somehow..it's just the cheap bastard in me coming out and my fear of being away from pickle juice that gets me asking about doubleing up..
