 Any of you guys up to April 2,3,4 at Lake Wateree Recreation area, SC ? That would give you Greenville area folks a short trip and only be about 3 and a half hours for me. Give me some feedback please Or if you have a better site in the same area let me know. That would make it halfway to the spring fling.

:( Sorry Jim but for you local folk you could do an over nighter. Get there early Sat and leave late Sun. One other Tear and I will be there. Keep it simple and don't have a pot luck just a big fire. How about it? If not then I will just go camp out in Chip's driveway

Here is a link to the park:

Lets see if we could get water front sites. I'll bring a canoe. The fishing is generally pretty good there.

All of our pups will be making this trip :?

Alan,, put me down,, sounds like a good weekend trip and its close to home,,
fishing sounds good, Is there a possibility we could all get in a close group? Paddling around in a kayack, not too sure about all that work,, Ill sit and keep the pickle juice cold.

That makes three. If Ross brings the canoe then maybe we can fit you in it. I think you did this just so I wouldn't camp out in your driveway. I've never been in a kayak in my life so I hope the water isn't real cold. They don't let you use explosives in the park so how am I expected to fish.

alan,, use an old telephone with a crank and use electricity,, maybe some of the electrical guru's on this thread could rig up a battery operated fish shocker from a battery and a power convertor,,etc,,

heck if you get jittery in Fayette-nam, hook up and come on up. got a spot reserved fer ya

Great Frank. That makes FIVE. Go to Ross's post with link. The reservation phone number will be functioning tomorrow. Ross, Do you know how many sites are on the water? I can't find a layout of park anywhere. We will worry about firewood as we see what the weather looks like and how many people will be there. OK ? Chip check with Pete and his charming wife please.
