Birthday/White Trash Christmas at the Beach

Postby WOLFPUPPY » Sun Aug 24, 2008 7:26 pm

Several of us have been talking and we are putting together a gathering in Myrtle Beach, SC on December 5th - 7th.....We are calling it the Birthday/White Trash Christmas at the Beach.....There are several birthdays in the month of December and we want to CELEBRATE!!!! We are also having a "White Trash Christmas", this means load up the camper with all your christmas decorations (the tackier the better) and come have some Christmas fun!!!!! There will be a prize given for the best "White Trash Decorations" (feel free to look at the attached picture)!!!! So far we have made plans to have a Low Country Boil on Saturday night, so if you plan to attend please give us heads up so we can get enough food together!!! You can make reservations if you feel the need but "NORMAL" people are not camping in December and the place is usually occupied with only our tear drops!!!! We have attached the South Carolina State Park link for you to gander at......Hope to see everyone there....!!! Time to spread holiday cheer!!!!

Can't remember if this would be 4th or 5th time for this. When I got the first group down there it just got kind of crazy. We didn't have it last year but we will be there this year. Reservations have never been needed as the park is nearly empty then.

I would love to go to this even though that I am a Yankee. I would definately be there, but unfortunatley my Teardrop only consists of a steel frame with 2 wheels so far. :(

I have been dreaming about going back to Myrtle Beach all year, but have not had the opportunity. Once the Teardrop is built however, I expect to use it... alot.

Hopefully there will be another gathering next X-mas.

How convienient! My birthday is also in December (28th)! Someone made plans for me that first weekend in Dec, but if it falls through I'm headed to Myrtle Beach to meet all you "interesting" people!!!
I'm pretty simple when it comes to camping, so I don't have plastic flamingos, a little white fence, strings of Sponge Bob Square Pants party lights, or a 40' roll of astro-turf... BUT I may bring my 8' Grinch Blow-Up character just to counter-act all the Chrimmus cheer. I may duct tape a Budweiser in his hand just to add to the "trashiness".

Hey, the yankee part don't bother us  . Throw a sheet of plywood on the frame, and bring it on  . We'll throw a tent over the whole thing 8) 8)

Would someone post what area you are going to be staying in. What numbered sites? I can't make a reservation, if I don't know where everyone will be parked. Thanks
