Alan - Thanks for the offer. I won't be getting an early start on Thursday so that won't put me down there until late at night. I might take I-81 down to I-77 in Virginia. From there I'll take exit 65 in S.C. to route 72 toward Chester and Clinton. From there I'll just follow the police cars and swat teams and that should take me right to the campground. Ed.

The camper is thawed out and cleaned. I got the stove, lantern, propane, etc. out of the attic. I need to know are there any rules regarding bringing firewood from out of state to S.C?

I'm not much of a cook. Is a salad ok for the pot luck ?

I'm on site 22.

Don't see any need for you to haul wood that far. Leave it at home. Salad, Sodas or a desert bring what you want. Looks like all we will need is an atmosphere fire cause it's going to be 60's-70's. I've got more than enough for two if we need it. PS: CHIP Are there any stores or food place close ? Is it time to go yet ???????

I think there are a couple stores with in a few miles,,, me and pete are bringin a scoop of wood,,, so id ya want a lil fire at ya campsite I would just buy a couple bundles at the ranger station or a store nearby,,, or we will have plenty and would share with ya,,,, The post luck seems to always come together real nice and there is always more than is consumed,,, paper plates, ice,, soft drinks or sweet tea eating utensils are always needed,,, and if ya leave something at home well one of us prob has one or two laying around,,, Its a pretty laid back weekend and nothing structured,,, so just enjoy your time with us,,, well try to anyway :D make us think ya did anyway,,,, Lie if ya have to,,, we will  just bring ya self on,,,, drive carefully and enjoy,,,,, Oh adult beverages should be brought with ya,,, and use a cup to make the rangers happy,,,
See ya at the lake on friday

Hello everyone-this is Mrs Boomer.....Ed wanted me to post something for him because he is at work & unable to. Unfortunately he will not be able to attend this weekend. He has been sick for the past days or 2 & with the 900+mile drive, he was wondering if he should make the trip. I was hoping he would so maybe he could bring some of that warm southern sunshine back with him!!.....then he got to work today & he found out he has a class next week for 3 days which starts Monday AM @ 7, so he is not going to make the trip....

He wanted anyone who might be interested to know that his site, #22 is available & paid for.

He will post for himself tomorrow.....

FRANK AND LINDA are on the T&TTT Most Wanted List. A reward of $.02 has been offered for their apprehension. If found please escort them to the nearest campground and give them PJ until subdued.. The Teardrop Posse
