South Carolina Peanut Party

Postby Bob Dodgens » Thu Jul 23, 2009 3:10 pm

Anyone for a parade? Galen and the Buckeye Chapter entered a parade, looked like they had a ball, so I got to thinking maybe we could do the same. Pelion SC is a small town west of Columbia on SC302 and US 178. They take their peanut serious. Hence The South Carolina Peanut Party. If you would be interested look on www.scpeanutparty.com .If we can put togather a few trailers we can enter as Tearjerkers Southern App Chapter. PM me if interested.

I love peanuts! They are great!

Looks like fun. Our local grocer just started stocking raw peanuts, and I have become quite adept at "boiling my own".

I'm startin' to get the munchies right now!

Mary Ann, Good to hear from you. You'll enjoy that fan. I'm still using my Wal Mart Special. Boiled peanuts are not my favorite but I do love a parade. There's always next year, and we'll hold you to it. See you in Nov. at Anastasia. Bob and Brenda 8) 8)

Wow! I LOVE boiled peanuts and I LOVE a parade, but we're actually tent camping at Myrtle Beach State Park that weekend, in what I hope will be our last tent camping trip!

I would be game for next year, when my camper is finished!
