Little Talbot Island Trip

Postby Lou Drop Inn » Tue Feb 09, 2010 9:22 pm

I am not going to make this trip -- I am so disappointed, but I have several issues that need to be resolved this weekend and before I make another Teardrop trip. I hope everyone has a wonderful time -- and stays warm! If you know of anyone interested in my camping site -- please let me know by tomorrow afternoon. I will be contacting Reservamerica to cancel the reservations in the late p.m.

I hope to camp with you at the next Teardrop outing. I'll stay posted to this forum...

If you haven't left yet bring your warm clothes and rain gear.

Little Talbot

Postby tinytrailer » Sat Feb 13, 2010 10:20 pm

I just got home from the gathering dinner at Little Talbot. Many of the people had to cancel, due to the weather but the ones that did go braved the rain and the cold. They even had an electrical outage for awhile and it made it colder for them.
The dinner was good as usual , with plenty of food. The campfire kept everyone nice and warm. Lets pray for better weather next year.

We also just got back. The dinner was great. :)

Now I wish we would have not canceled. :(

We were still very glad we joined them for today.

I did have to get on to Woody for trying to hoard all MaryAnn's chocolate chip cookies.
He had what was left of them hidden in his truck.

Thanks again for a great time.

We're home, unloaded, and cleaned up. Friday night was wet and cold, but Saturday and Sunday morning were beautiful! The dinner Saturday night was a lot of fun, and all of the food was great. Ruthanne and I had a wonderful time at our first, but definitely not our last teardrop gathering. :applause: Those who canceled missed a great time!
