Second Annual Winter Camp-in

Postby nkroes » Thu Feb 10, 2011 3:48 pm

Are you snowed in but bored? Looking for something fun to do? Well, join the National Serro Scotty Organization for the second annual Winter Camp-in. This event is anywhere you are and is being held on Saturday, Feb. 12 (or anytime this coming weekend). Sleep a night in your trailer or just eat a meal in it - or even just have your pictures taken in front of it. If your trailer isn't finished and you're still working on it, just have a picture of you taken with it.

Send the pictures afterwards to [email protected]. I'll be putting a slideshow together as I did for the 2010 Camp-in.

See those pics at http://vimeo.com/nsso/camp-in2010

Any trailer welcome - it doesn't have to be a Scotty!

We had 59 participants coming from 23 states, including Alaska plus one from Canada. The 2011 Camp-in pics are found here: http://vimeo.com/nsso/camp-in2011

We'll be holding the Third Annual event in Feb. 2012 - so plan to join us. Remember it is "anywhere you are" so spend a night in your trailer or eat a meal in it, or, as many did, just send pictures of your snow covered trailer that is waiting for spring!

Hi Nancy

That was a fun thing to do! Somehow I managed to miss your event, even though I spent some time driveway camping on Saturday the 12th. I now see it was posted in the SE forum index, so you truly do want to be one of us  Although warmth and sunshine isn't really a state of mind kinda thing. It is best to experience it in person :snowstorm:

Thanks for sharing, and for all you do.
