October Gathering, Pisgah National Forest, NC

Ladies and Gents its just 2 weeks from the first (I think) gathering of teardrops in the southeast,,,I know it will be the first for me and I am really excited and looking forward to meeting several of the folks I have met thru the board,,Now if the weather gods will just be kind it should be a great weekend.

if anyone is tent camping and do not have a site or reservation let me know,, there will be room on my site for you to set up,,

Are most people coming in on Friday or are some of you coming in on Thursday? I am not sure which day I am going up yet but could be cohersed to head out thursday if others are going up,,Let me know and I can leave out accordingly,,

I've been thinking of coming up to check out the gathering on Sat. and pitching a tent for the night. Checked on Apple loop, but ofcourse the sites are all gone. Figured we could find a site close and maybe drop by and visit and check out all the teardrops.We haven't got past the planing stage yet, but we got the fever!!

I dont know if anyone is interested but my friends that were on site #48 are having to cancel due to family priorities,,I am not sure when she is going to cancell or if there is a cancellation list but I am just passing on the info

I'm loaded and ready to go. Weather looks like cloudy with lows around 50 and day time high around 72 throught the weekend. Alan

Bout all that is left is loading the cooler and last min food shopping,,topping off battery as we speak,,My mobile bed and breakfast is ready to go,,since this is my first teardrop function I am about as excited as any other weekend camping trip I have ever been on,,I'll be solo this time but it just gives me a little more room for stuff,,,cant wait to meet everyone and tell a few T/D lies,,everyone have a safe trip up

Are we still meeting for breakfast? Excited, ready, willing and able!!! There will be 4 grandboys, 13, 11, 10, 10, 2 couples, 2 tents, 1 tear, 2 vehicles. Everyone is ready to have a good time. The boys and my brother-inlaw want to do some fishing in the river.
