Does that make em fire resistant? or does it just make em pretty?

Hey Jim,

How your construction coming along? Last I heard you were going to use the areas between the beams for storage. Got any photos of that?

Mike..
I'm pretty well at a standstill on construction because of all the rain we've had from these freaking hurricans..the trailer is outside under a tarp till it dries out here, and now IVAN the terrible is coming, so i don't know when i'll get to it..and yes, the under side of the floor is going to be storage, so it will have little access doors down there.

Chip, you ain't right!!!

Hippiemom,
Back side of 40? I wish, sadly I'm on that side of 50! Welcome to the board and will be looking for you in Oct. Already have you down as coming, so now everyone expects you to be there. Don't think there are any more sites, however am sure we can find some room for you. Bring the tent and we will see ya in a few weeks.

I am a baby when it comes to chili or salsa. However Carla loves it hot. In fact, the hotter the better. I can handle chili up to a 2 Alarm.

Has anyone checked on the park to see if they have suffered any damage to our area, due to the harsh weather that area has recieved? Hopefully everything is OK.

Is anyone bringing a canoe or kayak?

Can't wait to see everyone.

Hey folks,,

Ross, Clancy talked with the park ranger and they had very little damage and its cleaned up and ready for us,

as far a chilli, make it medium-mild,,the hot fans can always add more heat,,,,

I am definately ready for the weekend and am looking forward to meeting everyone,,

Ross, Bentley here. On the chili, I vote for mild or very light-medium (whatever that is?) Like everyone else, I can't wait. If it was not for the fact that I need my day job to eat, I would leave tonight! As for the pot luck, my family (Bentley, Susan, Austin) will bring chicken, some kind of subs, and a couple of drinks unless someone has already spoken for these items. :D :D :D I look forward to getting new ideas to make tear drop camping better and to meet everyone!

Allen, after reading my reply I realized I should give you the chili report. Oh well, not my first mistake today. Hello anyway Ross and everyone else.

Clyde and I like chili to be spicy. But we can always add some hot sauce. We are going to bring fried rice.

We went by the campground yesterday on our way home from Tennessee. I can send a link to anyone that wants to see the pictures. It is on a site called ofoto.com and I have to invite you to see the pictures on the site. So send your email address to me if you want to see the pics.

Pammy

PS I added 3 pictures to the Album section here but could not display the pictures.
