Great! How many of us are there now?

We usually have 10 to 12 campsites for this gathering. I will be reserving 3 sites for my family soon. Usually plenty of room in the campground this time of year. Looking forward to seeing you again. I may bring the Burro to this one. It's not finished but might be campable by then.

I hope to be down your way again this year. It is getting a bit cold in Northern Illinois. Thank goodness no snow yet!
I keep hoping it will get back up into the 60's before spring but I think that might be wishful thinking.

Sorry I can't make it to the 2bits gathering Thomas but I will not be finished with the winter prepping of the house to the end of the month. I got the snow blower running yesterday. I am happy to say I will not be around to see it throw any snow.

I always look forward to this gathering, it is quite unique and fun!! No worries about my place, there will be many more! I am going to visit my father in Colorado at the beginning of December so I should see some snow before Texas does, if it does at all this year! Looking forward to Loyd park, if I can't get over there to scope out a site, I am just going to book one, this weekend is all about prepping for next weekend though.

I still want to swing by the park on a road trip sometime just to check out the sites when I have spare time, but having spare time seems to be the problem, haha!! I won't reserve "your" spot though woody!

Thanks for the update Woody! I have been meaning to drive by the park to pick the "perfect" spot LOL But I think I might just google and bing it at an angle and just book the dang thing but I am still in! Yeah it is supposed to be freezing rain this weekend, but today was almost 80 so you never know what the future holds for that weekend and cold don't scare me!

Thomas, any of the spots in that area (lots of trees) are good spots. #148 (Dave & Cindy) is close to middle of those campsites and was the party site last year.

I just updated the list for this gathering. We have 10 with reservations and three maybe's.

Glad we're not camping this weekend. Sure is icy outside.
