A 2bit Gathering May 16-18th 2014

Postby 2bits » Sun Dec 15, 2013 8:37 pm

Come one, come 10... to a 2bit gathering in May. I was already planing to do a spring gathering and Woody mentioned that nothing was on the books for May so TAG I am it, sounds good to me!

This is the weekend between Mother's Day and Memorial Day. I plan to have ALL sites powered by gathering time, but I doubt I will have the bathhouse done by then. My older sister's birthday is this weekend so if she can attend she will sleep in the Deuce and we'll call it her birthday bash, otherwise we will have to settle for a 2bit gathering!

Let me know if you want to attend and I'll keep a list here on this post. Space is limited to around 10 campers-ish.

Here is the roster that will be updated as things change.

Site 1Easement = Dave and Cindy in the Hi-Lo
Site 2 Easement =
Site 3 Next to the house = CD '63 Shasta
Site 4 Carport area = TexasBill and Louisa in the Weekender
Site 5 Parking area =
Site 6 Parking area =
Sites 7-8 Shop/Firepit area = (No power yet, hoping to have power by then otherwise dry or generator camping. Teardrop only space, and I will need to back you in, yes me… haha unless you are really good)

Posted but Unconfirmed, (others are welcome):

If there is still an opening after I finish our camper, we'll be there. But dont hold a spot for us, I'll check back when it's campable.

Don't know that I can commit to a gathering right now - BUT, if you need some help with the prep work (electrical and etc...) just let me know.

Hiya 2bits. This one sounds like fun!
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

Thomas,
If everything goes well, Louisa and I will be coming down to your place for the camp out.
We're looking forward to being with the gang and seeing what your place looks like.
Are we having FUN yet?

I look forward to seeing you again Rex, it has been a while! You can bring firearms here as well, I don't have a long range (100ft/33 yards) but it's still fun to shoot.

It will be good to have you out to Bill and Louisa, thanks for joining in if you are able!!

April is a big camping month for me so after Beaver's Bend I'll be focused on completing the power pole upgrade and running some more power around the place but we did just fine last time! My goal is to get power ran to the shop back in the woods since that can host two additional spots, and as always there are a couple of openings in the easement out front for anyone who wants to dry camp or has a generator.

I am thinking I am going to be maxed out at 8 trailers FYI !

Hey, Thomas, right now it looks pretty good for me to make it out there -- sans teardrop.

Cool Glenn, no shortage of campers here right now, my sister and her hubby will probably be in the Kenskill and the Shasta probably won't be sold by then, and I just picked up a '69 Shasta the other day which is water tight that I could have clean by then if needed too. I know you are cool with a tent too, and you could pop it right on the level ground in front of the shop, so one way or another you have options!

We need to think of a use for the easement out front, I have a ballon launcher now...

Thomas, you are a regular trailer dealer! Which Shasta are you selling?
