let me start with a quick blurb about how building a TD came about.we live in Victoria Australia (im actualy a kiwi though) and its usualy to hot or too cold for a tent and not much inbetween.
i love my fishing and getting away but its a hastle or expensive without your own accommodation as my land cruiser is usually full of tools so unpacking and repacking realy blows.
so i was sitting around one day a couple of years ago and saw a teardrop and have been thinking about it ever since but too busy to do much about it.
ive just finished a contract i had for 3 years and im basically scratching around for work and as daylight savings has just started was the ideal time to start.
so me being me who generaly just makes things out of a picture in my mind based on copying something ive seen embarked on the trailer.
its a similar design to the top end camper trailers and things like the kimberly camper except no independant suspension, was out of my budget and to complex to build.
as for the design it keeps changing as i do more research but it was always going to have underfloor storage,a good size watertank offroad hitch and suspension.
im now leaning toawards a benroy as ive seen so many amazing ones here and elsewhere , it was going to be a more grass hopper design.
so heres what ive been upto!
(when i get this photo thing sorted!!!)
