I figured out how to get pics to upload! Before you look I warn you the garage looks like a tornado hit it.I gotta clean. Still need to figure out upper galley if you all have any clever ideas or suggestions. Need to keep it simple or my husband may bail on the project
I am the camper and the teardrop is my deal. He was just good enough to go along with it.

I like to keep thing simple. Just put a rail on the top shelf to keep small storage bins on the shelf.
This is just me, but I would put a hinged shelf extension on the main shelf to extend it past the bottom so One does not hit the legs when cooking.
The extension would have fold down angle block to hold it up and would fold vertical when traveling.
Just my thoughts

:applause: Good for you, Kim! And, your camper will be a Dandi! :) Yes, I agree that you will want a tad more counter space but I think you'll be okay for now. I would continue on with your plans so that your husband doesn't get discouraged, for now. More counter space and side tables, etc, can be added later. Use it a while and see how you feel about it first. Then, you'll know what to add or how you want to change it; and, you hubby will have had a rest and might be more amiable to upgrades.

Thanks all. I think Ill add a fold up counter and plan on a side table on pass side for now and use it that way until I have camped with it a while. Trying to figure out where to keep cast iron

Uh-huh. You set an awful low-bar on messed up garages/shops.

I think your galley is looking great. Simple is good. Here's a 4-wide and a 5-wide:

I love the stove slide out and the step up in the back. I may have to borrow that idea! Coffee break is over so back to building the hatch :?
