Jim Hogg Park - April 3-6th

Hey All,

I am doing a trip to Jim Hogg Park on Lake Georgetown for 3 nights April 2, 3 and 4, leaving on Sunday April 5. I have a couple friends meeting us there (though they are in bigguns). I am in spot 29, there are more spaces available if anyone wants to join.

Is this not a State Park? I saw that you have reserved a specific site which state parks don't do in Texas (that I know of) but I saw that it was run by the TPWD also... how did you manage that?

Nope...it is an Army Corps of Engineer park. So you can pick your spot, etc. We got it through www.ReserveAmerica.gov.

It's not bad but Cedar Breaks across the lake is a bit better but Jim Hogg is bigger.

I did a maiden voyage video on youtube when we stayed at that park back in Oct.
