Camping Kentucky in June

Postby Cindy » Thu Apr 23, 2015 6:22 am

We are Cindy and Dave from South Central and will be in Kentucky in June to celebrate our retirement. Anybody want to camp with us? No plans for where or when, yet. Just asking!

The KY bunch are a great group and are very active. Give them an idea about where you want to camp and I am sure there will be several friends appear to camp, swap lies, and party with you.

We (Bluegrass Tearjerkers) are having a gathering of teardroppers at Elkorn Campground from June 12 thru June 14th. This is located just outside the capital city of Frankfort, Ky. We would love for you to join us. Check us out at Tearjerkers.net

Thanks Bobhenry and Mike.
But, I have a problem. We have the bluebonnet teardrop but we camp now in a vintage HiLo trailer since my knee replacement. I heard Tearjerkers don't camp with vintage. Would we be welcome. If so, we will try to get there.

I am questioning what you heard and kinda suprized no one else has spoke up. We have camped many times with our tear drop and home made taco wagon as I call it with the tear jerker groups and no one has ever made me feel unwelcome, said anything at all. In fact they are quite the welcoming, brotherly bunch. Infact the last tear jerker gathering we went to a member was in a 5th wheel and we all smiled and laughed about it...

I hope a seinor knows more than me tearjerker member chimes in and sets the record straight for us .

Ok, sounds great. We are retiring at the end of this school year and heading out. We are heading to Beaver Bend, Ok. For a gathering now. When we get home I'll make reservations! You'll meet us there. Better, you get to meet Ralfy, our sheltie mix- sweetest camp dog ever!

Cindy, you will definitely be welcome. The Tearjerkers are the most accepting people I know.
