Talked to the campground office today. As of right now...the campgrounds are closed due to flooding. But they fully expect them to reopen in the next few weeks so we should be way good by October! This was a hot topic last weekend at CRA!

I was thinking that today. Do we have a plan B? I think that time of year it might be a trick to get reservations on short notice....getting close to foliage season....

Hope so. I've wanted to visit Salamonie for a while now, It looks to be quite nice.

I hope the foliage isn't completely washed out, and the camp sites are solidly packed. The thought of a dirty site is not appealing. Once it reopens I'll drive up and see....but I'm not interested in staying in a nasty dirty campsite...even for a gathering.

I did get the rash I was dreading....I thought I was OK, but it broke out Monday night. Luckily only on my right leg...I mustn't have washed off enough oil to prevent the breakout. I still consider myself quite blessed....it almost was a LOT worse.
