You will never get it quite the way you want it. I had an old jalousie window given to me for my trailer. The aluminum corrosion was worse than what I see on your window. I used a green Scotchbrite sponge and etching wheel cleaner. The brand is Eagle to be used on bare aluminum wheels, not painted. The etching wheel cleaner contains phosphoric acid. This will brighten the mill finish but the dark pitted areas are too deep to remove.
The best comment was a guy asking when it was built. I said last year. No, no, he said, when was it originally built. He thought it was a vintage camper I restored. :-)
