Nice fullsize wheeler!

Anybody know a US dealer that sells the off road hitches?

I dont find the pintle annoying, but i also put my big cooler on the tong so it keeps alot of the weight on the hitch so it doesn't bang around.
Offroad it makes a bit, but atleast i know its still there LOL.
but i like simple, the pintle is rated for 6.5 ton, so knowing that i dont have to worry about it breaking is something i like to know. it will flop the trailer over before the receiver breaks.

Thanks.

I worked on the trailer some more, finished the sides roof and started work on the galley.

more pics of the build. In the galley area I'm making an angled shelf for more storage space. the rear of the galley has slides that open to the inside to grab a snack while inside so that you don't have to go outside if its raining or snowing.

more progress. Skinning with 1/8 plywood. note the insulation between the skin and the inner plywood. Just stapled and glued it into place. The windows came from an RV junkyard complete with sliders, screens and inside mount plates. All points were waterproofed with loctite marine sealant. Also notice the hydraulic high lift trailer jacks on the rear for use on very uneven terrain. There will be 4 installed. The front box is a 48" wide truck box from Tractor supply with a locking door. I was surprised at how thick the steel is on those truck boxes. This pic also shows the rear door that I made which extends with gas shocks overhead to act as a shelter when its raining/snowing and you are cooking. The trailer also has a completely new suspension made from Trail gear shackles and some Toyota 4runner rear lift springs I had laying around that I never installed on my ex-gf's truck (bonus!) The axle now has about 12" of upwards articulation.

door side with RV window installed and skinned with vent cover for galley fan. The roofing material is bituthene 3000, I thought it would be the best to stop any leaks. Note the aluminum plate on the roof, that is the side of the solar panel array I mounted to the roof which locks into place with detent pins when driving and can be released to angle toward the sun by 20 degrees for winter months and held by a single gas shock in the center
