Scout is directly below the Dam. If it's at all windy, Scout will be my choice. Plus it's a few bucks cheaper. If there is no chance of wind North, at the top of the dam,North end would get morning sun earlier which might be nice. They are within a couple hundred yards of each other. I guess whoever gets there first can decide. Looks like I won't get there till Friday morning. When do you plan to arrive?
Weather Report: Highs in mid 50's Lows at night mid 30's. Almost 0% chance of rain Friday-Sunday and winds 4-6 miles per hour. Perfect Camping weather for February.
So , it looks like it is set! Another successful "Gathering" for those who choose to attend! Looks like you will not be alone! Hope everyone enjoys the long term forecast and the weekend at Cj Strike Dam! Good Roads Brian & Sandi

See you there. I am almost all packed up and ready to head out in the morning. We will both be heading west on I80. I plan on getting off it at Glens Ferry and take highway 78.

Didn't someone once say that boredom is a sign of a weak mind? Either that or you're driving across Southern Idaho I guess.
