Spring trip

Postby Greg Barrick » Sun Feb 28, 2016 7:20 pm

The wife and I are planning our 2016 trip from the end of May till mid June. Planning a trip from N. Indiana, follow some of Rt. 66 through Ill, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas panhandle, up into Colorado, Across Wyoming into Yellowstone, across Montana ( to see kids & grand kids) down into Sturgis SD area and home. Should be a busy couple weeks. Hopefully an easy winter in Yellowstone.
Wife wants a couple dinner shows, havn't found a rodeo that early in season yet. Of course we'll stop at the Big Texan, Wall Drugs, Deadwood and the bad lands. Anybody know of any good ghost towns close to that route? Any "must see" stops?
I've ridden rt 66 and to Sturgis on my bike before. This is the first LONG trip with the wife and tear drop. Just want to try and get as much in as we can in 17 days.
Thanx

Drive the Bear tooth from yellowstone if possible. Incredible scenery. I pulled my teardrop over it with no issues.

Thanks jss06, was kinda thinking of that, weather permitting. Pretty steep and twisty if there's snow and ice.
By the way, I love your build! Super nice camper.
