Wait, who's going to help me back up if needed?! Pinecone is hitched and ready to go. I should arrive around 6:00 today, assuming all goes smoothly.

Drive safe and see you soon. Hope that your task list goes faster than expected!

Just Tear Jerking Marrianne's chain a little. I will be there to help you back up......as we know you will be the last one there! Or, I will save you a pull thru. :R

So ......Here is the report.
We had 16 Teardrops show up at the Ag Museum.
One was just a drop in, but the other 15 stayed fopr the entire event.
We were treated to Great Food, Great Weather, and Great Friends!
Some wonderful nights with many tall tails in the "Butt Hut"
A couple of group breakfast were shared in the pavilion on the Binford 6000 provided by Ted.
4 Trailers pulled out to carry on to Shasta.
Thanks to Doug (keeper of the key) and Betsy for acting as our hosts at this event.
"It will be an Annual Event for sure now!

Once we were back on the road, we had a wonderful night at Cove Palisades Crooked River SP.
It was cool, but we were in Jim & Sue's new "Luxury Tent" enjoying "Legal" beverages! ;)
After a tour of the view points overlooking Billy Chinook Lake, we were on the road again by the crack of noon for Lakeview Or.
Arrived in time for supper at the pre selected campground, but the 50 MPH winds coming out of the north made us cancel that plan and go to plan B.
Another campsite 10 miles east of Lakeview was explored and turned out to be a great find.
We are now lounging in the "Luxury Tent" awaiting our hot supper. The Christmas lights are strong and we are looking forward to a skiff of snow to complete the picture.
It is definitely cool enough.
Got to run supper smells ready!
Oh, our regret is that one of our group missed the turn off to Lakeview (just south of La Pine) and ended up on the other side of the state.
The plan is to spend Tuesday night at McArthur Burney Memorial SP.
See you at Shasta!

Brian:
Since we will be hitting Lakeview this Wednesday, where exactly did you stay? We were planning on Goose Lake state rec area but it might not be open yet.

Hi Loren
Yes, I don't think it opens until May 1st. Either does the campground that we are at right now, but the hosts had just arrived and there were others staying here also.
We are at Juniper Resevoir RV Park about 10 miles West of town.
$29.00 per night with your Good Sam discount. Very clean and very nice. Very cold. 4800 ft above sea level.
See you Thursday!
