Mogollon rim, Arizona

Postby noseoil » Sun Jun 12, 2016 11:23 pm

We took a short 3 day weekend trip up to 7,400' with the teardrop. It's about 250 miles from Tucson to the camp area we went to, near Strawberry & just 1/4 mile off the pavement. Rain, thunder & hail on the first night, but no leaks in the trailer or the air conditioning setup, so it was a successful trip! Daytime highs were around 80, night time lows about 50, perfect weather after the recent 112 days in Tucson. Beautiful country & nice company. Had a few teardrops, minis & trucks. This is a great area to get out of the heat from Phoenix or Tucson.

Looks like a great trip. The Mogollon rim is one of my favorite places to camp. I usually camp just south of Bear Canyon Lake and north of the 300.
