Tony, I have to admit that it is an older model, a Primus 4400 Streamliner II, but then again, my white gas Colemans are old, too.
When we were at Poet Creek I couldn't get a medium sized pot to boil, just 5078 ft; ended up using coals from the camp fire. Maybe it was cold (morning/evening) at the time?
I'm not saying I'm opposed to propane. It is convenient and clean, and I'm sure technology has improved. I'm just saying, if I had to choose between them, and between the stoves that I currently own, I'd go with white gas.
