Right here:

http://www.mooneyesusa.com/index.asp?Pa ... ProdID=389

These are the screw-ons. Just look around there for the snap-ons.

That site tinks. Here's another link where they're just 15 bucks each:

http://www.mooneyesusa.com/index.asp?Pa ... rodID=1893

Hallelujah. I found the snap-ons. I had to click on "Moon Original Parts."

Did you buy those Ira? If so, how do the fit? Just wondering how secure they are to the HF wheel.

With my humongous fenders, they're not going to work. I think I'm going to paint my rims brown, and install removeable shipwheels on the FENDERS.

I was going to put the shipwheels right on the wheels, but then there's a tire balancing issue. I have to order the shipwheels and see how they play out on there--then I'll make my decision.

I am NEVER going to finish this thing.

When I really want to get disgusted, I'm going to post a list of what I STILL have to do and what I STILL have to buy.

It's DEPRESSING.

I wonder if any of these have enough depth to clear the hub.
Anyone try any of these?

I do that and the list seems to grow. I know what you mean about it getting depressing. What I did to the list is divide it into High Med and Low priority. Then I can knock off the things that I should and not get caught up in something else.

That's the same question I have Survey.

Ira, don't get disgusted (although I know what you mean), I like Asianflava's advice, "rack&stack", I bet you're closer to heading out than you think.

I have 13's from Tractor Supply, the hub does not stick out further than the front plane of the wheel. I was looking for moons but decided the spun stainless steel (dry lake racer) caps looked OK for my needs.

I talked to Mike at Hubcapmike.com and ordered a pair, It looks like they would still work even if the hubs were a half to an inch longer.

Maybe no info to help here, but I just had to talk about it anyway :R

Earl,
I would love to put a set of hubcaps on my 12" wheels but I worry about them clearing the hubs. With my luck I would order them and they wouldnt fit.
They sure would look good though!

Walter, I emailed the company to ask about depth/clearance. If/when I get a reply, I'll let you know.

Walter,

Here is the response to the email I sent to mooneyes, when I asked about clearance/depth.

"12” snap on disc will sit 1-3/8” from very outer edge of wheel."

Earl,

maybe they are the same.......hard to tell from the pics.

no hole for the valve stem on either.

thanks!

Snap on style.

Wonder how secure they would be on these HF wheels?
